Weirdest thing you've put up your girl's vag?
That crosses the line a bit right?  Its a pretty obvious title that you'd want to remove right away right? Nope. It sat there, and sat there, and the pervs rolled in. Joking or not, disturbing or not - the real disturbing issue is the length of time that post sat unmoderated.

Some replies:
"barbed wire", "3 Musketeers Bar", "A pineapple.", "Chainsaw", "fist", "R A P E"

How can one make a change when it just gets deleted?

Making a post about the lack of moderation will always get deleted - usually even before some of the negative posts are. Case in point - shortly after the other posts were deleted my post "wtb 24/7 forum moderation" was deleted. People make suggestions often for an improvement but they just get removed. I say that today is the day we make sure our voices are heard.

The question at hand is:

1) Why are there not moderators 24/7? There are much much smaller sites that have people that don't get paid to moderate their forums working 24/7. How does a company so large sit back and allow this to happen?

2) Why are simple words like c*ck not censored? Or the 'n' word with spaces in it. There's no excuse.

3) Why is there not an age requirement to view the forums? Anyone at anytime can view the trash that is being posted.

I'm concerned for the child that hops on mom/dads computer and sees the forums - it doesn't matter that they don't play, they don't have to be logged in. They can view the disturbing titles simply from looking at the first forum page. I'm concerned for anyone that stumbles across the racist disturbing trash on the forums and is subject to it due to a lack of moderation and basic censorship/registration options.

The problem is not that the forums are not being moderated when there are moderators available - because they usually are. The problem is that since there are not people moderating the forums 24/7 inappropriate content sits there for hours or longer with no action taken.

Its ridiculous and it needs to stop.

Lets work together to make a change. As paying customers its up to us to speak up, so if you agree please contact Blizzard:

Please call: (800)-59-BLIZZARD from 8:00am-8:00pm Pacific Time‚ Monday through Friday‚ except holidays.

Please email: wowreportedpost@blizzard.com

And please post in the suggestions forum.

Thanks!

As listed on ESRB.org World of Warcraft and the Burning Crusade get a "T" rating. I've contacted the ESRB to see if this translates to game websites as well - we'll see.
