hello everyone

My name is Dee Im a 38 year old mum of three and I love WoW!!!!
Started playing in October just on a trial account (thinking I would not enjoy it) became addicted and have not looked back!! My husband also plays now and is more addicted than I am! Im big into the vanity pet collection which I started working on once reaching lvl 80....nearly have 50 and looking forward to owning Stinky the Skunk!! LOL Also working on collecting the books in Dalaran which is proving a pain but I will plod on with it!

Anyway just wanted to say hi!!!

It is totally addicting, I don't know how much free time you have but I know as a mommy of 2 (with a 3rd on the way) that free time is far and few between - but WoW allows that 'escape' without ever having to leave home! lol

The vanity pets are awesome! What's your favorite pet so far? You're lucky that you started playing now because back in the day you could only have as many pets as your bank/bags could store! And everytime you wanted to use one you needed to pull it out of the bank and keep it in your bag.

There weren't guild banks either so space was really limited - I found myself actually disguarding a pet or two along the way

With today's methods though it's awesome and I've become an avid collector myself!

Let me know how the book hunting goes - I found 2 books really quick and haven't come across any else since :\ One person on my server I was talking to said she would just stand in the same spot for hours until they spawned - I don't know if I have that patience.

I play for a couple hours in the evening now when i first started I wanted to play from morning till night lol I don't play every eve as there are other things to do and I am busy during the day but still sometimes find myself logging on looking for those dalaran books!!! So far have found only one.....all the others I have found have been other books so have not had much luck yet!! i don't think i could stand in one spot for hours waiting and then find it's not the book Im looking for!!!!

As for the pets I love the Core Hound pup my fav so far and also the Skull I'm trying to get the dailies done to become exalted with the Kalu'aks so I can get the penguin at the mo! It's become and obsession this pet collecting lol and I know Im not alone!!
Also just started the Argent Tournament quests so I can get the Elwynn lamb so much to do and so little time!!!!!

My three are 19,15 and 13 my youngest thinks its shameful that her Mum plays WoW!!! LOLOL

Yeah the books seem pretty elusive unfortunately, I haven't given up but I just don't look as often as I use to.

Did you join early enough to get Mr. Chilly? I also was going after Pengu but then they started offering Mr. Chilly if you merged your wow & battle.net accounts(which became a requirement) so once I got him I totally forgot about my quest to get Pengu. That would suck if it's no longer available to get Mr. Chilly because he's BoA which means every new character you make has him unlike the rep grind of Pengu and other pets.

Thanks for the congrats our kids are almost spaced the same, I have a 6 y/o a 1 1/2 yr old and then the baby will arrive when the littlest turns 2. My 6 y/o was playing for awhile but I could tell he was getting really moody when he had to stop playing so we've weaned him off it lol.

Have fun with the pet collecting I don't know if you've ever checked out www.warcraftpets.com but you can make a list to track all of the pets you have and the ones that you want to get. It makes it a bit easier to keep it organized and to find out info on the ones you don't have

Yes got Mr Chilly and also the whelping but can't remember what that was for! I did buy the Pandaren Monk just could not resist lol plus a fiver goes towards The Make A Wish foundation (I think) As for the books well if Im in Dalaran I take a look but I know it's going to be one of those that will take alot of time and patience! I do check the pet websites quite a bit but I think it's going to now be a very slow process from 51 to 75 so may have to start collecting the mounts lol

I'm a "Gamermom" myself, I have girls, a 7 year old and a 9 months old :-)
The eldest had a wow-char, but she only liked dancing with it, lol! - a gnome with pink ponytails <sigh>...

Anyways, as I said on the forum somewhere, Im not a "collector" like you guys, but I do have Pengu!

I'm soo upset they took the little fire guy out I was soo looking to the fire festival then I see he's been removed. The new little rock dude is cool but I'll be happy whenever they bring the fire guy back(someday...)
